Three Counties with One Mission: Inviting Cultural-Trail Explorers

Rural Routes to Main Street Guidebook

Just west of Indianapolis, three counties have joined forces to promote tourism along the Rural Routes to Main Street Cultural Trail. Visitors can plan their own trip and take their time cruising through Hendricks, Morgan and Putnam counties to experience art galleries, eateries, studios and more. Williams Randall created a new logo for the trail, and its first official use was in a journal-style guidebook. Printed on an uncoated stock, the guidebook can be easily written on so we included prompts to encourage visitors to note where they would like to go and what their favorite items were. By using the guide and venturing along the trail, they can find out the stories behind the art, making each piece even more meaningful. The book scored the judges' votes when Visit Hendricks County was a winner at the inaugural Indiana Tourism Awards, being recognized with the Best Cooperative Partnership Award
