Account Coordinator Digital Media Specialist Media Buying Assistant

Account Coordinator 

Reports to: Account Supervisor 

Williams Randall Marketing is a full-service agency with offices in Indianapolis and Terre Haute, Indiana. We help clients achieve their business goals by focusing on their branding and advertising, online presence and media placement — all while keeping an analytical eye on measuring success and achieving results.

This role is for a candidate with 0-2 years experience. The position reports to the Account Supervisor and is based in our downtown Indianapolis location. Recent college graduates with marketing and communications degrees and relevant internship experience are preferred.

The account coordinator plays an important role in supporting the account management team. While this is an entry-level position, there is opportunity for growth and professional development. Consistent training and evaluation is provided to develop account coordinators in to junior-level account executives. This training creates opportunities for the candidate to manage individual accounts and play a more significant role with creative development, media planning and overall campaign strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day project and deadline communication with the Account Supervisor and internal team
  • Participate in internal production meetings
  • Execute all tasks related to project initiation:
    • Properly open jobs for all projects
    • Develop production timelines
    • Produce accurate project estimates
    • Provide project revenue and profitability updates to internal team
    • Coordinate analytics implementation for applicable projects
    • Oversee internal workflow progress
  • Effectively and accurately traffic creative work to stations and publications
  • Assist account supervisor with meeting planning and client needs

Digital Media Specialist

Reports to: Media Director

The Digital Media Specialist researches, recommends, implements, optimizes and tracks cost-per-click/cost-per-thousand campaigns for a variety of clients.  This position manages campaigns across various paid channels, including Google AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and programmatic platforms.  The candidate must have a solid understanding of marketing fundamentals, be innovate, proactive and have an interest in forward-thinking digital marketing.  They must also be highly detail-oriented, well-organized and dedicated to quality.  The Digital Media Specialist will be part of our Media team but also work with our Analytics department to analyze campaign effectiveness.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Research and implement digital strategies based on media plans within AdWords, programmatic platforms and social networks
  • Work with internal teams to ensure all goals are met within budget
  • Manage optimization processes on a daily basis to ensure proper condition of all campaign content
  • Assist with certain technical needs of digital implementation, such as creating remarketing and/or conversion pixels to target and track media
  • Analyze all aspects of online campaigns and weekly metrics reporting for campaign evaluation and recommendations
  • Curate keyword lists and manage copy for text ads
  • Maintain relationships with digital sales representatives
  • Communicate internally and externally with clients as an expert on campaigns
  • Identify and qualify new digital media trends and products
  • Contribute to the Digital Outlook and Social Media Teams

Requirements

  • Marketing/Advertising Degree or 1+ working years in Marketing/Advertising field
  • Exceptional at managing and transferring data within spreadsheets to accurately follow budgets and maintain reporting
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills, decision-making, and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and deliver exceptional results in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively work independently and troubleshoot any issue

Media Buying Assistant

Reports to: Media Director

Please note: The successful candidate will join our six-member media team, and Williams Randall will provide extensive mentoring and training.

The Media Buying Assistant supports the media team with the management, collection, organization and preparation of data from various online and traditional media tasks.   They must also be highly detail-oriented, well-organized and dedicated to quality.  The candidate must have a solid understanding of marketing fundamentals, be proactive and have an interest in being trained to buy media.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect, open and distribute monthly media invoices
  • Manage organization and distribution of creative instructions, added value deliverables, budget tracking spreadsheets, post-analyses
  • Collect metrics and prepare client-ready weekly reports
  • Prepare presentations for clients regarding media proposals, schedules, and post analyses
  • Keep vendor files and media resources updated in computer databases
  • Maintain contact and liaison with various media representatives as assigned
  • Research vendors and evaluate packages as assigned
  • Place media buys as assigned, including negotiation, stewarding and reconciling of those buys
  • Manage, place and reconcile trade buys
