Indiana Tourism Has Another Record Year

INDIANAPOLIS—Williams Randall congratulates Indiana Tourism for marking another record-setting year in terms of number of visitors and visitor spending in the state. A study just released by Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Office of Tourism Development found that travel, tourism and hospitality supports more than 242,000 jobs and contributes $12.2 billion in spending. This represents the sixth year in a row that visitors have spent more at Indiana destinations, increasing by 5.7%. By contrast, visitor spending advanced 5.1% in Kentucky, 3.7% in Tennessee, 2.4% in Ohio, and 1.8% in Illinois during the same period.

Williams Randall has partnered with Indiana Tourism as agency of record since 2008, providing services for their websites, online media management and optimization, print media management, creative development of traditional advertising, analytics services and reporting, and campaign and brand strategy. We congratulate Indiana Tourism on successfully encouraging overnight visits from both Hoosiers and surrounding states alike.
