As we enter this holiday season, we are grateful for the opportunity to partner with clients who positively impact the lives of fellow Hoosiers in so many ways. From making family memories to educational opportunities to changing the stigma around diseases — it's been rewarding to partner together in 2024.
This holiday, in lieu of gifts, we're honoring the work of our client Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana with a monetary donation to support their services.
While the iconic brand is known for its thrifty resale offerings, it's their life-changing social, educational, and outreach programs that have captured our hearts this season.
Some of those initiatives include:
Goodwill Nurse-Family Partnership
A program pairing first-time mothers with registered nurses for support during pregnancy and the first two years of their child’s life.
The Excel Center
A tuition-free public high school for adults that has helped thousands of Hoosiers graduate with their Indiana Core 40 high school diplomas and industry-recognized certifications.
Indianapolis Metropolitan High School
A public high school for students experiencing barriers to education.
AbilityOne
An employment program matching individuals with disabilities with jobs.
Right here in Marion County, the organization has also created employment opportunities through retail and commercial manufacturing operations, with many of these jobs filled by people with barriers to employment. Goodwill is also running the day-to-day operations of a grocery store (Indy Fresh Market), located in a former food desert.
