We are adding a Senior Art Director with 6+ years of experience to our creative team. Specifically, we’re looking for a talented, versatile art director and conceptual thinker who is able to spearhead the visual direction of client campaigns. In this role, you will collaborate with creative and account teams while leading projects from brief to execution. Creative assignments include video for broadcast and online, outdoor, digital online campaigns, landing pages, and website designs. The right person will be motivated and be driven to learn, grow, and find ways to make the creative work better. You’ll report to the Executive Creative Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and lead visual strategy
  • Design digital experiences for digital ad campaigns, social media, landing pages, microsites and full websites
  • Conceptualize and lead video production for broadcast and online campaigns, sometimes personally editing or animating. 
  • Ensure quality and foster innovation
  • Present and sell work

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years in art direction or design roles at an advertising agency, with proven expertise in video production, digital campaigns, landing pages, and website design.
  • Technical skills: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro); bonus for Figma, HTML/CSS basics, and motion graphics tools.
  • Portfolio: Outstanding book showcasing conceptual thinking across digital and traditional media, problem-solving, and end-to-end campaigns 
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator:  Leadership experience; thrives under pressure in fast-paced agency settings.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Advertising, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Other: Ability to travel for shoots/clients as needed; based in, or willing to relocate to, the Indianapolis area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agency experience with integrated campaigns (broadcast + digital).
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles for web/landing pages.
  • Award-winning work or measurable campaign successes.
  • Experience in responsive design and video editing
