INDIANAPOLIS—You might think of going to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari only during the summer months, but the judges of the Indiana Tourism Awards understand that Happy Halloween Weekends are also an excellent time to visit the amusement park. Holiday World accepted the Best Event Award during last night's presentation at the Indiana Tourism Conference, held at the new Embassy Suites Conference Center in Plainfield.

During Happy Halloween Weekends, families get to enjoy all kids of spooky and not-so-spooky attractions in addition to the great rides at Holiday World. They can check out SCAREbnb, a family-friendly funhouse, and find their way through 12 acres of corn mazes. What's even more fun is that guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and join in the fun at the costume dance party and go trick-or-treating.
