The Caring Side of Crew Carwash

INDIANAPOLIS—Williams Randall is thankful to work with clients like Crew Carwash that lead their communities with an eye on philanthropy. Last month, Crew Carwash helped raise more than $12,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Indiana. Crew has a relatively new location in Merrillville, and the community really supported the fund-raising effort. For two days, Crew Carwash provided a free wash ($20 value) for donations only. All proceeds went to the Boys & Girls Club and will benefit six local clubs in Lake County.

Crew Carwash holds similar annual events at each of its 30 Indiana locations. Last year, for example, Crew Carwash raised $44,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters at one event and raised $19,000 plus 1,600 pounds of food for Gleaners Food Bank. Later this month, the Bloomington Crew Carwash, which opened in January, will give free carwashes in exchange for donations to the Monroe County Humane Association. In total, Crew annually raises $500,000 for charities throughout the state.
