How exactly do diaper pins and champagne flutes fit together? This was the conundrum our creative team faced as they carefully considered how to create a brand presence for My Healthy Baby at the recent Indiana Latino Expo (ILE) Awards Gala.
My Healthy Baby is dedicated to reaching Latino families across the state. As an event sponsor, they needed to celebrate the contributions of the 2023 award winners while also highlighting key brand messages and staying relevant within the context of the event itself. A tall order, but our creative team was game to get cooking.
Our team went through several brainstorming sessions before landing on a few different concepts that centered the award winners and remained true to My Healthy Baby's mission of connecting mothers with tools and resources they need while raising their child. From these ideas, the client selected their favorites: a bright and playful place card setting and early childhood book donations made in the winner’s names.
The place setting included a QR code that led to a landing page overlay (in English and Spanish) so attendees could learn more about the program if their curiosity was piqued. The donated Spanish and bilingual books were complete with custom stickers featuring My Healthy Baby, the ILE award winner’s name, and that winner’s hometown. The books will be given to Latino families in Indiana who participate in pregnancy and infant support programs.
Event sponsorship is one way our clients create brand visibility and widen their reach. For My Healthy Baby, the ILE Awards Gala presented an opportunity to reach a core community all while celebrating the achievements of people making a real impact in Indiana’s Latino communities.
