INDIANAPOLIS—Williams Randall’s quarterly community service project took us to Midwest Food Bank of Indiana, where several team members packed gallon bags of dry macaroni and labeled cans of tomato paste. The items were then set to be shipped across the state to be handed out at food pantries.
Midwest Food Bank of Indiana is a great example of how one act of kindness can lead to so much more. In 2005, some local folks worked with Midwest Food Bank to ship containers of food to Liberia when they recognized their desperate need. Soon it was apparent that there was also a great need in closer proximity, and by 2008 there was a permanent location here in Indianapolis. Now Midwest Food Bank of Indiana provides shipments to over 300 agency partners in 70+ counties.
